Admissions Requirements and Process of Enrollment
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Submit a copy of transcript or diploma documenting a High School Diploma (or G.E.D equivalent) or College Degre
- Professionals Program: Submit a copy of transcript and diploma from certifying school of massage, and also a copy of national certificate and state license (if applicable).
- Be in good physical and mental health and of sound moral character.
- An interview is required with the Admissions Director or Program Director. (In case of extreme distances the interview may be conducted by telephone.)
- Submit an Enrollment Application and nonrefundable $50 Application Fee. Please see application on pages 23-25. Submission of an Enrollment Application does not guarantee acceptance.
- On the first day of class you will be issued a Student Handbook outlining the policies of the school.
- You will be required to make a Tuition Deposit and sign an Enrollment Contract. The Tuition Deposit secures your enrollment position in the class.
- Within 2 years prior to acceptance into the program, prospective students are required to have received at least 2 professional massage therapy/bodywork sessions, one of which may be from a student in the NCSNH Student Clinic.
Enrollment Contract
On or before the first class meeting, students are required to sign an Enrollment Contract. This is a contract in which you agree to conduct yourself according to school policy and fulfill all requirements for graduation including payment of tuition and fees.
Standards for Admission
Acceptance into this program is based upon approval by the director influenced by: prior professional, educational and life experience, emotional maturity, motivation, academic ability, physical ability and capacity to meet financial obligations. The Massage Therapy Diploma Program is demanding mentally and physically. All classes fill quickly, so you are encouraged to apply early. Students will be notified in writing and/or telephone within 30 days of their personal interview regarding acceptance.

Student Handbook
Enrolled students receive a NCSNH Student Handbook which contains school general information, policies and procedures on student conduct, academics, attendance, discipline and other important information. Each enrolled student is required to read, understand and become familiar with the Student Handbook as an extension of the NCSNH catalog.
Student Services
Career, academic and course-related counseling is available to all students without charge. Counseling of a more personal nature is available to the students for a nominal fee. NCSNH does not offer housing or residential facilities.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
- Due to the small class size, a strict refund policy is adhered to.
- Buyer’s Right to Cancel: You have the right to cancel your enrollment. Students withdrawing/canceling enrollment after acceptance but within the first 72 hours of signing the enrollment contract will receive a full refund of all monies paid excluding the application fee.
- Cancellation of enrollment after 72 hours but before the first day of class will result in a refund of all tuition paid minus the tuition deposit. NCSNH retains the tuition deposit.
- If a student withdraws or is dismissed during the first 25% of the course, NCSNH will retain 50% of the tuition. The student will receive a 50% refund of the full tuition.
- After completion of 25% of the required course work (based on the total number of hours in the program), no refund will be made.
- Students who withdrawal or are dismissed after 25% of the program are responsible for payment in full of the outstanding balance of their tuition and fees.
- Refunds shall be calculated from the date a letter of withdrawal from the student is received by the director. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of withdrawal or dismissal.
- Refunds after classes begin apply to tuition only and do not include books or fees.
- In the event a program is cancelled, students will receive a full refund of all monies paid.
