Jane combines 30 years of teaching with her passion for natural healing through herbal and nutritional therapies. Having worked as a science teacher and counselor in the USA, Brazil, and Japan, she has gathered a wealth of stories about her life and travels overseas. Upon returning to the USA in 2001, she began her herbal studies and has received certificates in Traditional Herbalism, Clinical Therapeutics of Western Herbalism, NCSNH Meditation and Energy Healing training, and is currently enrolled in a degree program for holistic nutrition.

She manages the greenhouse and green projects on campus and is a founding member of the North Carolina Chapter of the American Herbalist Guild. Her goal is to empower others to discover their own healing potential through the knowledge and use of whole foods and herbs.
