Jeremy Schewe
Jeremy has nine years of field experience in ecology, botany, herbology, shamanic communion, qigong, and outdoor adventures. Jeremy is a certified herbalist from the Global Academy of Holistic Healing in Flagstaff, Arizona, under the tutelage of Delfina Rose. With a bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Forest Agriculture from Warren Wilson College, he maintains an ecological/environmental consulting business serving various governmental agencies and private landowners. Jeremy performs ecological, biological, botanical, and wetland surveys as well as conducting ecological restoration projects in North America and Europe. Jeremy’s herbal endeavors have primarily focused on family-level diagnostics, with a core concentration in the propagation, conservation, and sustainable harvest of alternative forest crops and temperate-woodland medicinal plants. Jeremy has an inherent connection with plant spirits and natural communities, integrating northern European and Native American pharmacopoeia. Jeremy teaches college level ecology courses at Cincinnati State Technical College and is a certified Qigong instructor through the Institute for Integral Qigong & Tai Chi (IIQTC) in Santa Barbara, California, and has been teaching weekly classes and workshops for four years.
