Learn both the reverence and the science of Herbal Apothecary skills and join the skilled faculty of the Mountain Spirit School of Herbalism in this certificate bearing course which offers an exciting ‘hands on’ opportunity to create and sample countless herbal healing recipes! Class will meet in various settings including our fully stocked herbal laboratory, our certified kitchen, and of course the beautiful Blue Ridge outdoors. Take home the skills necessary to create your own herbal home apothecary and build your home medicine chest with monthly samples! Students will be assigned a mentor and take home assignments and projects are a part of this course.
